Wonderful Wanadash!

This weekend, No Peanuts Please laced up our sneakers and joined the WanaDash Fundraising Run in support of Campwanago 🌲💛. The morning was filled with fresh air, friendly faces, and the kind of community spirit that makes these events special ✨.

Our table became a cheerful stop for kids and parents 🎒👩‍👧. We handed out School Safe snacks 🧁✅, offered free crayons 🖍️🎨, and shared our colourful peanut-free coloring sheets 🌈📄. It was so sweet watching children pause to colour, snack safely, and chat with us about their favourite parts of camp 💬😊.

One of the best parts of the day was getting to share it with my little sister 💕👧, who helped hand out crayons and cheer on the runners 🎉👏. We met wonderful community members — runners, parents, and volunteers — all coming together to support Campwanago’s mission to make summer camp affordable and inclusive for every child 🤝🌟.

Being part of events like WanaDash lets us do more than just talk about allergy awareness 🥜🚫. It shows families that safe, joyful spaces are possible — and that they can still enjoy all the magic of camp and community events 🌞🏕️.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, coloured a page, picked up a snack, or simply said hello 💌🤗. We’re already looking forward to the next chance to run, play, and celebrate together — safely, joyfully, and peanut-free 💛🎉.
