Free Colouring Page: How to Use an EpiPen for Kids!

Updated: Aug 1, 2025

At No Peanuts Please Canada, we believe that allergy awareness can be both life-saving and kid-friendly.

That’s why we’re so excited to share a set of free printable coloring sheets to help children aged 4–8 learn how to recognize an EpiPen and understand how it’s used in an emergency.

Why It Matters

When a child knows what an EpiPen is, what it does, and how to respond during a severe allergic reaction, they’re not just prepared—they’re empowered. Whether they have food allergies themselves or are learning how to support friends who do, kids are never too young to become Allergy Allies.

These new coloring pages walk children through:

  • What an EpiPen looks like

  • Simple 4-step instructions they can understand (Blue to the sky, orange to the thigh!)

  • When and why it’s used

  • The importance of calling for help
